We had already announced it, and now it finally happened: the konsultori workshop on “Conducting Successful Briefing Conversations” together with Grüne Wirtschaft (Green Economy) took place on June 7, 2016 in Vienna.

The group consisted of many exciting participants from different industries. In addition to business consultants and graphic designers, there were also interested parties from the fields of film, photography, building culture, publishing, and agency life.
In detail, we discussed the potential beginning of a client relationship. How can you get the maximum out of a conversation? How do I prepare well? Which techniques in conversation support my standpoints? How do I skillfully handle difficult situations that might arise during the briefing conversation?
Dealing with Difficult Situations in Briefing Conversations
Handling difficult moments led to lively discussions. These included questions such as:
- How do I deal with information extractors who just want a free service?
- What do I do when the chemistry doesn’t work from the beginning?
- How do I manage to answer the budget question confidently?
- What to do when commitment is lacking and my counterpart simply won’t commit?
- How should I react when I get pushback and am confronted with my competition?
You can get all the detailed answers to these questions, the group’s experience (and much more) at one of our future workshops!
Philogreissler is a Particularly Fine Location
A great highlight of this workshop was the venue – the Philogreissler Cafe on Kaiserstraße. The host, Gerd Fraunschiel was super nice, and the atmosphere was simply comfortable. Like being at home in a chic living room with a light touch of the 50s.
I Say Thank You!
Not only to Grüne Wirtschaft for the invitation and the great organisation of the entire event, but also to Philogreissler and all participants for the extremely lively exchange, the many great opinions and exciting discussions!
A big thank you also, especially for the wonderful feedback I received after this presentation. It makes me very happy when participants feel comfortable and take away actionable experiences, go “perfectly briefed into the next conversation,” and “the following briefing conversations of all attendees will run differently” than before. This is our shared achievement,t and I’m just as pleased with my team as you are! We also say: Thank you for the great morning!
