Ensemo: Phoenix Award for Innovation and Female Leadership

Congratulations to infrared.city for winning the Smart Settlements & Urbanization category at the WSA Austria Awards 2024!
Selected as one of 17 winning projects during the WSA Digital Impact Days, this award is a major success for the team led by CEO Angelos Chronis and Sophie Hamann, who proudly accepted the prize.

Over the past weeks, 130 global experts have been hard at work reviewing the WSA nominations from around the world and, during the WSA Digital Impact Days that took place on Jan 15-19 in Austria, the WSA Awards Winners were announced. We were more than thrilled to be selected as winners among the 17 shortlisted projects of our category!
Our CEO, Angelos Chronis, together with Sophie Hamann, represented our team in the awards ceremony and celebrated together with the winners of the rest of the categories.

ante up: Circular Design from Vienna at Milan Design Week
Congratulations to ante up for showcasing their TIDE CHAIR as part of the Vienna Vibes exhibition by Galerie Zippenfenig during Milan Design Week 2024!
Focusing on circular product design, ante up demonstrates how sustainability, aesthetics, and functionality can work in harmony. Their participation in one of the world’s most prestigious design events marks an important milestone, and we’re excited about the international visibility this brings to Circular Design made in Vienna.
Salone del Mobile 2025 liegt hinter uns – und wir sind noch ganz erfüllt von einer intensiven Woche in Mailand.
Wir durften unseren TIDE Chair im Rahmen von VIENNA VIBES zeigen – kuratiert von der Galerie Zippenfenig, in einem ganz besonderen Setting: der Erotica Boutique, einem Erotikshop mitten im Stadtviertel Porta Venezia, der für ein paar Tage zur Bühne für österreichisches Design wurde.
Es war eine große Inspiration, überall in der Stadt spannende Ausstellungen zu besuchen und mit unterschiedlichen Designer*innen in Austausch zu treten – über Arbeitsprozesse, Ideen, Objekte, Materialien und manchmal auch einfach über das Leben im Designbetrieb.
Simiæn: Non-Alcoholic Falstaff Trophy Winner
Congratulations to Simiæn for winning the Non-Alcoholic Falstaff Trophy for their Simiæn Sprizz Non-Alcoholic, which scored an outstanding 92 points!
Particularly noteworthy is their innovative use of lichens as a key ingredient, setting a new standard not only in taste but also in sustainability. Cheers to innovation!
🏆 We are thrilled to share some exciting news: our design studio has won the prestigious Non-Alcoholic Falstaff Trophy for our Simiæn Sprizz Non-Alcoholic, achieving an impressive 92 points!
What sets this achievement apart is our groundbreaking use of lichen as a key ingredient in a beverage, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to innovation and pushing boundaries.
A special shoutout to our invaluable collaborators: Johannes Schartner, fermenting chef, for his exceptional partnership, Oliver Kartak for his role in creating a visually stunning branding that complements the unique flavour of Simiæn Sprizz, Wirtschaftsagentur Wien for their support in bringing this new beverage to the market and Konsultori for navigating the legal aspects of this process.
This accomplishment fills us with immense joy and pride, fueling our determination to continue exploring new horizons in the world of beverages.
