Deep tech startups have the potential to revolutionize entire industries and solve global problems such as climate change, healthcare and energy through technologies such as AI, robotics, quantum computing and biotechnology. Deeptech innovations can create new markets and drive social and economic change.
However, these startups face immense challenges such as long development times, high R&D costs, complex regulatory requirements and the need to attract specialised employees. In Europe, risk-averse investors and bureaucratic hurdles also make scaling difficult. EIT DEEP TECH TALENTS INITIATIVE
We are proud to be part of the EIT Deep Tech Talents Initiative – a key program by the European Commission under the New European Innovation Agenda. The goal is to train one million people in deep tech by 2025. We are actively committed to fostering deep tech talent, with a special focus on our “Scaling Readiness Run” blended learning program, which offers practical and forward-looking training.

We collaborate closely with renowned research institutions such as the Austrian Institute of Technology, TU Wien, Science Park Graz, and the European Space Agency BIC Austria center. Scaling Readiness Run is probably the best program any of us (in the founder team) has attended. Its well-structured sequence of sprints is carefully designed and balanced: Actionable content is paired with practical frameworks, many of which we have started to integrate into our practice. Particular highlights among those topics were Product-Market-Fit, OKRs and the Employee Value Proposition.
