Petra Wolkenstein was able to successfully contribute the background of her business studies in Vienna and Barcelona to the consulting of telecom equipment providers and mobile telecoms start-ups. She started partnership networks, landed UMTS contracts and defined the B2B product portfolio of startups at Cluster Consulting in Spain. For 10 years she designed the strategies of mobile operators in Eastern Europe and successfully brought investment opportunities to the committees of an international corporation.

Corporate development is her passion.

She coaches Startups, entrepreneurs and managers of mid-sized companies and owners in the creative industries on growth strategies. This covers international market entry, lead generation, new business areas, building partnerships, winning over investors or buying / selling companies. She works in diverse roles: interim management, classic expertise, coaching or workshops. Since 2016 she has been working with business owners on business transfer projects. She has founded and runs the startup platforms key2investors and to support them in preparing towards investor-readiness.

Privately she admires vertical gardens, loves water in every form, language and music. She accompanies the life of her husband and their daughters with joy.

Born in Salzburg, he is one of the best sailors in Austria (6 times Austrian state champion). The sporting highlight was his participation in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

In 2009, Christian Nehammer ended his Olympic career and concentrated on his professional career in Telekom Austria Group. He used his experience in controlling and top-level sports to build the controlling department of a telecommunications provider in Belarus.

He significantly influenced the professionalisation of Telekom Austria Group’s purchasing until 2014 and led the largest and most successful cost savings project of A1 Telekom Austria (2014), for which the company received the “Procurement Excellence Award” in 2016.

As CFO of Brantner Group, he was responsible for the “modernisation” of the financial processes and also headed the IT, HR, Purchasing and Project Management departments in addition to exercising the management function and power of attorney of several Brantner Group companies. At the same time as professionalising the finance functions, Hans-Christian Nehammer implemented the legal restructuring of Brantner Group with 67 subsidiaries.

Since 2019, Hans-Christian Nehammer has been advising companies as an independent consultant on increasing efficiency and profitability.

Privately, he spends his free time with his two sons and his wife on the mountains and is still passionate about sailing.

Joachim Zimmel has more than 25 years of experience in financial and operational tasks up to management and supervisory board functions. As an expert from various functions such as Head of Controlling, CFO and General Manager, he has a proven track record in the plastics production, raw materials, telecommunications and environmental services sectors. His professional experience extends to internationally implemented projects, such as the support of companies in the start-up phase or the necessary financial restructuring management. He also acts as an investor in the fields of PR, IT, FMCG and personnel services and familiar with the different perspectives of both sides of the negotiating table, from small businesses to large corporations. Since 2009, Joachim Zimmel has also been teaching at the Lauder Business School (Vienna) in the field of “project financing” and was awarded the professional title of Prof. (FH) in 2016.

Robert Kohl contributes to Christian Nehammer’s expertise by providing the technical infrastructure, operational controlling and investment calculations for the clients served.

“Controlling needs good financial systems. I set them up, operate them and then implement them at and with the client. Good financial systems and plausible investment calculations may not be sexy, but with them, I pave the way to success for companies,” Robert Kohl is convinced. The data provided is the basis for smart decisions.”

His path led the Styrian and business graduate from Forum Stadtpark to the controlling department of A1, where he met Christian Nehammer and Petra Wolkenstein, the founder of the boutique management consultancy Konsultori. Years later, Kohl and Nehammer deepened their cooperation at Brantner Walter GmbH, where they ensured the professionalisation of the finance functions. In his last position, Robert Kohl led the Treasury, Group Controlling and Controlling Systems departments at Brantner Umweltgruppe GmbH.

Sophie Duransky is currently studying for a Master’s degree in international business administration at the University of Vienna. She is interested in strategic management and has already gained valuable insights into the startup ecosystem. With us, she takes over the office management.

Zsuzsanna Bódi studied communication science and literature at ELTE in Budapest. After working in the media sector and a short but significant stay in England, she arrived in wonderful Vienna. She is interested in marketing, design and social media trends. With us, she takes care of content communication on Konsultori’s channels and online marketing.

After his technical studies in physics and mathematics, Alex Staenke worked successfully for many years in IT project management and web development, as well as a trainer. After school, parallel to her studies at WU, she completed a bachelor’s degree in Ukraine in the field of “International Management”. After studying economics, Dieter Zahrl worked for several years with Hans-Christian Nehammer, Robert Kohl and Joachim Zimmel on the financial systems of the Brantner Group. Realignment of controlling, investment calculations, business cases or more efficient process design were some of the tasks that were successfully completed. He gained further experience in the timber industry, in the food trade and with service providers in medium-sized companies up to large corporations.

Recognising connections and using synergies as strengths is an essential aspect for a sustainably successful company. To recognise these connections, you need a good data and financial basis as well as active communication between the participants.
